The stage is set for the league’s 30th season! 

Following a historic 2025 season highlighted by the Golden State Valkyries’ debut, A’ja Wilson’s KIA MVP run and the Las Vegas Aces’ third WNBA title in four years, Season 30 is set to tip off on Friday, May 8, 2026.  

With the 2026 WNBA Draft (tune in to ESPN on April 13 at 7:30 pm ET!) and the debut of two additional expansion teams on the horizon, the momentum is high. Check out some of the early storylines and key dates to look out for in the action-packed 2026 WNBA Schedule.  

Season 30 Tips Off  

The WNBA enters its landmark 30th season with WNBA Tip-Off 2026 presented by CarMax on Friday, May 8, with a three-game slate. The action continues through the weekend with an additional three games on Saturday, May 9 and five games on Sunday, May 10, to kick off the 44-game regular season.

Season 30 is also highlighted with a rematch of the league’s inaugural game in 1997, with the Los Angeles Sparks hosting the New York Liberty on Sunday, June 21, on the anniversary of the original matchup.

The Home Debuts: Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo 

The league is expanding to a 15-team field with the highly anticipated debut of the Toronto Tempo and the Portland Fire. Each team will make their home debut during the weekend of WNBA Tip-Off 2026 presented by CarMax.

Aces Begin Back-to-Back Campaign, Revenge for the Mercury 

The 2025 WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces will begin their campaign for another back-to-back title (previously taking home the chip in 2022 and 2023) with their first home game on Saturday, May 9, hosting a 2025 WNBA Finals rematch against the Phoenix Mercury. The teams will face-off four times this season:

Soon, the newest top selection in the 2026 WNBA Draft will join the Dallas Wings and team up with the 2025 No. 1 overall pick, Paige Bueckers. The rookie duos will match up three times, with the first game coming Saturday, May 9.

Commissioner’s Cup Presented by Coinbase

The sixth annual WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase in-season tournament will take place Monday, June 1 through Wednesday, June 17. The Dallas Wings will kick off the two-game slate on opening night hosting the inaugural cup champions, the Seattle Storm. Following cup play, the top teams from the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference will go head-to-head in the 2026 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship. Who will be crowned the next Cup champion? 

AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026 takes Chicago 

The W is heading back to the Windy City! AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026 will take place Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, hosted by the Chicago Sky.

Luka is my favorite play in the entire slate. Lakers are short-handed (no Reaves or Ayton), so Luka, who already has a monstrous usage rate, is about to go off in one of the best matchups for his skillset. Jazz are now #1 in Pace. They play little to no defense and they allow lots of above the break threes (no one takes more attempts from there than Luka).

This is a recipe for Luka to give us the first 60 points game of the season. Bridges play is a speculative one. We already know the iron man will play. But Knicks have several guys listed as questionable.

But I can see 2 of them sitting. If so, Brunson and Bridges will get busy. Same for Utah. I think Markkanen will miss the game. If he does, more usage for Keyonte. But we need to watch the status on that. We can run a parlay with the idea he will miss and then build from that.

Barnes: Charlotte just bleeds assists in general and they’re dead last in assists allowed to PFs.Barnes has hit 5+ assists in every H2H vs the Hornets, and in the most recent matchup (11/29) he had 5 assists on 15 potential. He’s also been in a nice mini-run lately with 9 and 7 assists in his last two.

Murray: The Hawks are 28th in rebounds allowed to PGs and 25th in points allowed to PGs. Murray’s been steady on the glass in his last five (3,4,3,4,6) and is coming off a 52-point game. If Atlanta doubles Jokic like they doubled Zubac last game, others like Murray should have solid scoring night.

• PaytonP – No Brown/Tatum meant huge usage for him last year, assuming we see the same this year. Wizards are giving up the most rebounds and 2nd-most assists, and with no Sarr I wouldn’t be shocked if PP racks up 3–4 assists to Queta alone.

• Austin R – No Luka and his usage spikes every time Luka sits. LeBron is in, but he hasn’t been crashing the boards like he used to so far. AR’s been rebounding well (10, 9, 8, 5, 4 L5) and should get even more chances tonight.

• T.Murphy – No Zion = more Murphy boards. He’s hit 5+ in 10/11 and 7+ in 7/11 without him. Just played the Wolves two nights ago and pulled 15. Assuming no blowout, all three should be locked into 32+ minutes with heavy usage.

Early looks and reasoning:

• Harden – Love this matchup for him. The Heat play at the fastest pace in the league and are 29th in rebounds allowed to PGs, 22nd in assists allowed. He already saw them in early November and dropped 7 boards and 8 dimes. Bonus play: I’m running his TD straight — the upside is definitely there tonight.

• Bridges – rebounds haven’t been his thing lately, but this is the get right spot. He faced the Nets in late October with the same healthy squad they have now and pulled down 11 rebounds. Nets also sit 29th in rebounds allowed to PFs, so everything lines up.

• Siakam – Comes in with 8+ rebounds in 4 of his last 5, and he grabbed 8 and 9 in his last two vs Cleveland. Cavs being dead last (30th) in rebounds allowed to PFs doesn’t hurt either.

  Parlay could be: a builder or a juiced up option

• bridges 6 rebounds ----juiced up to 8

• siakam 6 rebounds--- juiced up to 8

• harden 4 rebounds-- juiced up to 6

• harden 7 assists---juiced up to 8

Atl at Wash

—It’s NBA Cup games today. Toronto already won the group. But Atl is very much alive for a wild card berth, IF and ONLY IF they can decimate Wizards today by winning by a lot to gain ground on point differential. I’ll explain that next.

—The NBA Cup has 2 conferences (East and West) and 3 groups of 5 teams in each conference. The winner of each group automatic qualifies for the round of 8. Because there are only 6 groups, each conference will get 1 wild card to get the total for next round to 8.

Currently, Atl is 1-1. They have 2 games left, including one against Cle, which is 2-1. If ATL wins today, they will have a decisive game against Clev Because h2h trumps point differential, all that matters today for ATL is to win and also substantially improve their point differential so they can surpass other teams vying for a wild card berth in the East. ATL point differential is currently +8. That trails Orl, Det, MIA, and Bucks— 2 of whom will be comparing point differential with ATL.

**Because ATL Not only need to win, but need to win big, every second will matter today. ATL main players will need to play every second with purpose. So you can see why ATL main players are great for parlays today? As for Wizards, nothing to play for.

—LA vs Clippers. Both team are 2-0. Lakers will win the group if they win. Clippers, even if losing, must fight to keep it close for point differential. If you know LBJ, you know he loves shit like that. The matchup is pristine for Luka and Reaves. Clippers season is all but over. But NBA cup provides them one last opportunity for glory. It’s an amazing game all around. Load up on both teams

—Orl at Philly. The game doesn’t matter much for Sixers, other than for regular season. But for Orlando, it’s everything. Orlando is fighting with Detroit to win the group or to improve its point differential. Orlando must play till the very last seconds

From this we are going to build hopefully some amazing parlays. I shot in the dark yesterday with the one play I posted. I will have one of those for today because they are actually kinda fun and worth the sprinkle.

I am starting to dig right now. 10 game slate. I will try and give 4-5 plays and one being a builder. I will also try and give out live action in the chat or a post. Live has been where im seeing a lot of success off the reads with 10 games it will not be for every game but there will be some. After just a small look, Im loving Deni Avdija lines.

• Deni is over in 3/5 this season without him

• Avg 18 potential asst per game without Jrue

• MIL will be without Giannis and on the year allow the 5th most rebounds to small forwards

• Deni has 9, 14, 8 rebounds L3 games vs MIL with 14, 19, 14 reb chances

Off those facts alone I love his over 6.5 assists and a potential Triple double spot. But I will have more detail as I keep looking.

Both Powell and Jaime rolled their ankles yesterday. I think it’s more likely Jaime sits, but both could miss today’s game if they wake up to swollen ankles, which happens often. If so, you want to be ahead of the news. I am 99% sure at least one will sit. On Lakers side, Reaves is already ruled out. On Atlanta side, there’s a chance Porzingis will sit on a back to back as Atlanta has been very cautious managing his minutes, which would give us great value on Onyeka.

Looking at this bucks game heavy! Buzzer beater. Revenge. Emotional game. Backend of back-to-back, with travel. This is the perfect recipe for a major letdown game from the Bucks. I am expecting Raptors to run away with this game and for Giannis and Miles Turner to NOT see a single 4th quarter minute.

Call this what you want. A scheduled loss. The essential message is Raptors will roll. I will have one of two lineups for this game ! There are many more and I urge you to build your own.

Good morning! I really need to find a way to win these for us. I am now 3-0 on predicting blowouts but 0-3 in winning parlays from them. Because I was 90% sure Bucks were going to get blown out, and they did. The game I was most confident in I also forgot to post in the picks. But you can see how I’m reading these games correctly I just need help from the players.

Losing on bets by .5 has to end! Below is what I played and woulda had you play but with a spread option added that I can’t do myself.
